Please read the terms and conditions below carefully as they form the basis of your contract with us at DreamSmartTutors.
All courses and services can be booked online via our website or through Eventbrite.
When making a booking the named person on the booking form is agreeing that:
o They are over 16 years of age.
o They have the authority to make this booking and that they also have the capacity to be bound by this contract.
o All information provided is true and correct.
o They have read and understood the terms and conditions.
When two courses are booked the customer is entitled to a 10% booking discount. A 15% discount occurs when three courses are booked together. The discount will appear automatically upon booking the two selected courses. This only applies to regular and not early bird ticket prices.
‘Early bird’ tickets are reduced prices for the courses and will be available for a limited time before the course dates, after which the full course fee will apply.
Payment is made online at the time of booking via the 'Eventbrite' website.
Students must have an interest in Medicine and be planning to applying to Medical school in the United Kingdom (UK) in the near future. The minimum age requirement for the courses is 14.
All required information pertaining to the courses will be issued via email at least two weeks before the course start date.
Structure and Content
DreamSmartTutors reserves the right to alter the course structure, content in addition to any individuals delivering the courses. We will endeavour to inform participants of any changes as soon as reasonably practicable.
Certificates will be issued depending on the courses booked and will be emailed to attendees 2-4 weeks after the course date.
All materials provided during the courses, including presentations, audio and video clips, booklets and handouts are owned by DreamSmartTutors. Course materials can be used for personal development only (i.e. revision purposes). No content is allowed to be copied, reproduced, or used in any way without gaining written permission from us, (including by way of email) at DreamSmartTutors. If the above terms are violated then this will constitute an infringement of copyright.
All cancellations must be made in writing via email, (please see email address below).
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
· Cancellations more than a month prior to the start of the course date will not incur a cancellation fee, (a full refund will be issued).
· A charge of 50% of the course fee will be incurred if cancellations occur between two weeks and up to but excluding one month before the course date.
· Cancellations that occur less than two weeks before the specified course date will incur a 100% charge of the course fee.
If we need to cancel a course, we will endeavour to give sufficient time in which to notify all attendees. There will be the option to issue a full refund or another course date. However in cases of force majeure we retain the right to not refund the course(s) fee(s).
All courses have a minimum number of attendees required; we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the course if this minimum number is not achieved.
Failure to attend the course
No refunds are given if there is non-attendance without prior warning.
We reserve the right to change a venue any time before the course date, (albeit we will endeavour to give at least 2-4 weeks notice).
Not all venues will have disabled access so it is important that the venue details are read clearly before the time of booking. Please also inform us of any additional requirements in due course so we can advise accordingly.
It is suggested that attendees arrive at least ten minutes before the course start time. If attendees arrive after the course start time without prior warning we reserve the right to refuse admission. We can however make exceptions in certain circumstances.
It is important that you notify us of any disabilities and special dietary requirements you may have. Please inform us at the time of booking, and in any event at least four weeks in advance of the course start date so that the necessary adjustments can be made.
Personal Statement and Curriculum Vitae (CV) Reviews
The candidate’s personal statement or CV will be emailed to the assigned mentor and up to two drafts may be submitted for advice and review. There is a one off review fee.
Mentoring sessions will last for one hour and will be organised between the mentor and mentee. Mentoring can be on a variety of topics crucial to the personal development of the student.
BMAT and UKCAT Practice
Personalized one or two hour sessions tailored to the student's individual needs.
Interview Techniques and Practice
Personalized one hour interview sessions for students- medical and non-medical interview practice.
Career talks will include a professional (a doctor, lawyer or accountant for example) talking to a group of students for half an hour which includes the chance to ask questions. Ten students minimum will be required to attend the talks. These talks can take place on school premises or other areas where groups of students are based, for instance youth centres.
A combination of the above services are also available as tailored packages to suit your needs.

Furthermore, individuals have the right to request (in writing) and obtain all personal information we possess about them.
